Why We Built FieldPal: The Story Behind the Tool for Field Teams

“Why isn’t there just an easy way to manage field jobs?”

We’ve been in this space for a while now, building WorkMobile, a flexible platform used by larger organisations to handle complex field operations.

But here’s the thing: not every business needs (or wants) all the bells and whistles. Sometimes, you just want something that works straight out of the box — no consultants, no tech jargon, no stress.

We kept hearing from smaller teams — electricians, landscapers, cleaners, health & safety pros — who were doing everything with whiteboards, spreadsheets, or WhatsApp chats. Impressive? Yes. Sustainable? Not so much.

So, we decided to take everything we’ve learned, sprinkle in a bit of magic, and build something just for you.
